Congratulations to the Atlanta Select Teams that are playing in the Nationals this week.
The 10u Boys Silver team has been in Pope County, Florida at the YBOA Nationals since last Saturday. With only 6 players (three 10 year olds and three 11 year olds) they will be playing in their sixth game. They are representing Atlanta Select extremely well with their persevarance and untiring performances.
The 13u Boys Black team has been in Memphis, Tennessee at the AAU Nationals since last Sunday. This afternoon they beat the Georgia DC Blazers to advance toward the championship in the Classic bracket. Two more games to go for the championship.

History Making Weekend. The mighty Atlanta Select 14u Boys Team Black, coached by Coaches Walker and Moore made history for the organization on Father's Day weekend. The team played in two tournaments, the DC Blazers Father's Day Classic and the Dekalb Eagles Summer Classic. The team was constantly traveling between Gwinnett and Dekalb counties playing in games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But the highlight is, they won two trophies, the championship in the DC Blazers tournament and second place in the Dekalb Eagles tournament. The first time an Atlanta Select team won trophies in two seperate tournaments on the same day. Congratulations to these outstanding student athletes and their coaches.
