I think the16/ 17u select silver .. ther team needs a coach that would stop braggiing about himself and charging these kids all thhis money when hes really not tellinq the truth ... they have very good talent. but he needs o get rid of some and aquire some big then because there will be ppl over 6'9 .... he juss needs to bhee a coach nd stop acing like peoples father ... Although Atlanta Select 15u team Silver fell short of the Gold, they scored high on C.A.R.S.
They played with confidence and were aggressive and totally relentless in their efforts against the State champs and runners up competing in the "A" pool@ the Marietta Spring Break Shootout. This was an excellent outing as a breakout tournament for a first year start up team.
The SYNERGY was flowing before, during and after the tournament, as the Players and Parents bonded and became a TEAM. The future is bright for these young players. They handled the weekend as young dignified athletes never giving up in their quest to represent the Atlanta Select organization. These Young men demonstrated that our players hold themselves to a higher standard of sportsmanship and integrity. They are proud to be a part of the Select organization and I am proud to be their coach.

The entire 9U team family would like to give our condolences to our Team Mother Gwen Astin, student athlete Deshon Astin, and their entire family on the lost of Gwen's brother on today. We ask that you please keep their family in your thoughts and prayers as they grieve the lost of their love one. Hello this is Coach James of the 9U Boys. This past weekend my team and I traveled to Greenville, SC to play in the Big South Classic I. The tournament was very organized and ran smoothly. There were many hotels and restaurants all within a 5-10 minute radius from the facility. The competition was very tough. I would recommend that all teams look at your schedule and think about added the Big South Classic II or III to your schedule. My team went 3-1 losing the championship game. The team represented Atlanta Select and the state of Georgia extremely well. We were complimented on our team chemistry, mannerism, and aggressive style of play. I want to thank all my parents for entrusting these young student athletes with me.
