Comments: After a grueling day @ the Warm up, the most inspiring comment came from Coach Mason. "If you're doing this from your heart and you keep working hard, you will be blessed." Thanks Coach and congratulations. Coach Copeland

Comments: Thank you and congratulations to Atlanta Select 15u Silver. For a first year team you guys did a great job. I give KUDOS to the majority of you young athletes. Those of you that set your goals high, reached them. Those of you that wanted to improve your game, games have improved. Those of you that wanted to become a major factor and weapon for your team, have proved that you can become an offensive and/or defensive weapon to be reckoned with on the court. Of course with positives there are always negatives. Those players that believed their games need not improve, did not. Those players that did not want to learn their positions, proved to be uncoachable and a weak link to the team. But that's o.k., your careers are young and there's still time to improve and take yourselves to the next level. Players always strive to improve your game and character and no matter how well we are at what we do, there is ALWAYS room for improvement. Accept your player analysis as a guide for what you need to continue to work on the most to improve your game, because that's what it is. Appreciate the honesty of your coaches because the reality is, they do want you to be the best that you can be..on and off the court. It's been a pleasure coaching you young athletes this Spring season and I look forward to reuniting with the majority of you next season. HAVE A GREAT SUMMER AND I PRAY YOU ALL REMAIN SAFE AND OUT OF HARMS WAY. I thank you and all of your parents for their support. Be blessed see you soon. Coach Copeland

Comments: The action begun to heat up the first night of the tournament. As the Atlanta Select 12u team faced the Hot Metro's 11u team. Which was lead by the hot shooting Dominique Oden, who lead the team in scoring with 19pts. But that wasn't enough to beat the balanced attack of Atlanta Select who was lead by Mya Herbert who lead them with 12.
