  Coach Burton and the Mighty Ninth Grade Boys Team RED are ready to play. They have added another tournament to their schedule as they begin play at the YBOA Super Regional in Dalton, GA this weekend. Following that tournament they will be playing a combination of Invitational, AAU and YBOA tournaments, a very diverse schedule. Atlanta Select 2011 Official Trophy Count.   The Atlanta Select organization has won more than 10 trophies, thus far, this AAU season beginning last September. But we are only going to begin the official trophy count of championship or runner-up trophies earned from February 20, 2011.
Our goal this year is to earn 99 trophies as an organization by September 1, 2011. By the way, Atlanta Select teams play until September 1, throughout the entire Summer.
We are now at two, with 97 more to go.
The top picture is the mighty Eighth Grade Boys Team BLACK 8732 (Coach G. Stewart) earning a championship last Sunday, February 27. The bottom picture is the mighty Sixth Grade Boys Team SILVER (Coach Baskerville) earning a championship on February 20, 2011.
Our teams will be playing all over the nation. Please visit our "Calendar" to see the posting of some of the tournaments by each team. Only six teams have posted their tournaments. Twenty-eight more teams will post soon.
This year you will see our Atlanta Select teams wearing a variety of our designer uniforms. Several innovative uniforms are being premiered, from sublimation to DRYV Moisture Control. We are ready to play.
Remember, You must have a Goal and live by a Code!

It's Tonight, Friday Night, Feb 25, 2011.  Coach Jarett Brown has scheduled initial tryouts for the Eleventh Grade Boys Team PLATINUM for Friday, February 25, 2011 from 6-7:30 PM.
Workouts will be at Dunbar Recreational Center, 477 Windsor Street, SW, Atlanta, GA 30312.
A second workout will be on Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Same location.
